Meeting Point and Park Entry

Itinerary

NOTE: The itinerary is subject to change if required based on weather and lighting conditions or unforeseen circumstances, including floods, fires, national park closures, road closures, etc.

Day 1 (Friday)

  • 5 pm - Workshop starts (Fairfield Inn & Suites)

  • 5 to 8 pm - Landscape photography class covering shooting in manual mode, the exposure triangle, using the histogram to ensure optimum exposure, exposure bracketing, shooting in RAW, white balance and color temperature, understanding focus and depth of field, composition techniques, and more.

Day 2 (Saturday)

  • 5:30 to 11 am - Sunrise and daytime field class at two to three locations within the park (locations may vary based on weather and lighting conditions).

  • 11 am to 2 pm - Lunch / free-time

  • 3 to 7 pm - Late afternoon and sunset field class at two to three locations within the park (locations may vary based on weather and lighting conditions).

Day 3 (Sunday)

  • 9 to 11:30 am - Editing class (Fairfield Inn & Suites)

  • 11:30 am to 1 pm - Lunch / free-time

  • 1 to 3 pm - Editing class (Fairfield Inn & Suites)

  • 3 pm - Workshop ends
