Regular readers will know that I'm a fan of podcasts - especially those that provide creative inspiration. Creative Banter does just that.

Both accomplished large-format landscape and wilderness photographers, Ben Horne and Cody Schultz, chat about their creativity and photography with a fair bit of philosophy and life’s challenges thrown in. They also talk about their cats and dogs - and I know how much the Substack community loves them.

Each week, Ben and Cody sit down to discuss the creative life. Some weeks, they discuss recent trips out into the wilderness, and other weeks, they discuss the philosophical aspects of creativity.

I find their discussions enlightening, thought-provoking, and entertaining. Even though I’m not a large-format film photographer, many of the topics discussed are relevant to my life and to the photography I practice.
